Karlštejn Castle
Karlštejn is one of the most visited Czech castles. It was built by emperor Charles IV. between 1348 -1355. Karlštejn served as a depository of royal and empire jewels and coronation jewels and also as an archive of state documents. This gothic castle with enchanting monumental architecture is located about 38 km southwestly of Prague. After climbing a hill you will do an hour sight-seeing of Karlštejn castle interiors.
