There are only a few firearms in the world that have had their name imprinted into the history books. These include such weapons as the Colt revolver and the Winchester carbine. In the 20th century, the Kalashnikov became perhaps the best known firearm.
The AK47 has become a true legend, just like its official designer Mikhail Timofeyevich Kalashnikov and it is perhaps the most widely used firearm of all times.
After gaining its legendary status, the Kalashnikov AK-47 was seen in the hands of many world leaders who liked to pose with it in photo ops. The former Chilean leader, Salvador Allende, died with a Kalashnikov in his hands, defending the presidential palace.
You now have the opportunity to touch, feel and use one of the weaponry icons of the 20th century and learn about it for yourself.
